Programmer

/programmer (/prog) opens the contract board. Contracts start right away, wherever you are. Every stage is a puzzle on your laptop:

1. Sync: the laptop connects to the client.
2. Find bug: a hot / cold grid. Each opened module shows how many errors it logs, fewer means closer to the faulty one.
3. Build key: mastermind. HIT = right symbol in the right slot, NEAR = right symbol, wrong slot.
4. Patch: code matrix. Fill the buffer with the patch sequence: pick from row 1, then that column, then that row...
5. Deploy: build checks pop up, click the matching hash in time.

A deadline meter grows every second and with every mistake. At 100% the client cancels.

Career

Ranks go Beginner → Intermediate → Advanced → Expert and up. Every rank unlocks new tasks and pays a rank bonus, and finishing early pays extra. /progstats shows your career and the task list. Y reopens the laptop.
